Ordering and payment
What does a course cost and is everything included?
Every course costs a one-off € 39.95 including VAT. That covers everything: all topics with explanations, practice questions and 50 practice exams, plus asking a theory teacher questions. You book and pay for your CBR exam separately at the CBR.
How do I pay and who sends the invoice?
You pay with iDEAL via a secure payment page. Payment and your invoice are handled by Planny, the platform we work with.
Can I pay for someone else?
Yes. Enter the email address of the person who will be learning; the access code arrives there. Buying for several people, for example as a company or driving school? Choose "I'm buying for a business" at checkout and order several codes at once.
Can I cancel my purchase?
For digital products delivered immediately, the right of withdrawal lapses as soon as you start the course. Read the terms for the exact rules.
Access and activation
How do I activate my course?
Right after payment you start via the start button, the link in your confirmation email or your access code. Activating is a one-time step; after that you simply log in with your email address.
I did not receive a confirmation email. What now?
Check your spam or promotions folder first and search for TheoriePlek or Planny. Nothing there? Request a new link via the "Lost access" page, or email us with the address you ordered with.
Which devices can I learn on?
On a phone, tablet or computer. You only need a browser and internet. Your progress is saved across devices.
How long do I have access?
Your course is valid for up to 3 years from the purchase date. The exact expiry date is shown with your order and in your confirmation.
The course
How is the course structured?
Eight topics with explanations, video and animation, practice questions per topic and 50 practice exams. You work topic by topic at your own pace; your progress is saved.
What exactly are the 50 practice exams?
Full mock exams modelled on the real theory exam, with an explanation for every answer. You can repeat them as often as you like.
Can I switch between Dutch and English?
No. Each language is its own course; you choose the language when you buy. So double-check your choice before paying.
Can I ask questions when I am stuck?
Yes. Inside the course you ask your question at the topic where you are stuck; a theory teacher answers there.
Exam and CBR
These answers refer to cbr.nl. We verify CBR facts before publishing and note the date we checked them.
Does this course prepare me for the CBR theory exam?
Yes, that is what it is made for. TheoriePlek is an independent provider though: not an official CBR course and no partnership with the CBR.
Are these the real CBR exam questions?
No. The real exam questions are not public and we do not copy them. Our practice questions are written in the same style, with an explanation for every answer.
How do I book my theory exam?
Yourself at the CBR, via mijn.cbr.nl or through a driving school authorised to book for you. The exam fee is paid to the CBR and is separate from your course.
From what age can I take the theory exam?
Moped (AM) from age 15.5, car (B) from 16 and motorcycle (A) from 17. These ages are set by the CBR and can change. Check cbr.nl for the current rules. Verified on 5 September 2026.
Privacy and data
What do you do with my data?
We only use your data to deliver your order and help you with questions. Exactly what we process and for how long is in the privacy statement.
When do you share anything with a driving school?
Only with your explicit consent, and only with a driving school you choose yourself. Without that consent we share nothing.
How do I withdraw my consent?
Email us at hallo@theorieplek.nl and we stop the sharing. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent.
